Official Rules and Regulations


Each and every entrant must be at least 18 years of age. Entrant agrees to abide to all rules and regulations contained herein as well as all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations and further agrees to release Heartland Housing Assistance aka HHA and its directors, officers, agents and employees from any and all liability with respect to all aspects of the Raffle including but not limited to, the selection process. The raffle is open to any person that is at least 18 years of age where the raffle is not prohibited by law, including state, local, municipal or other laws. Employees of HHA, their families, agents of prize suppliers and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in this raffle. Participation constitutes entrants full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules, Regulations and Sponsors decisions which are final and binding in all matters related to HHA's raffle drawings. Winning a prize in contingent upon fulfilling all requirements as set forth herein.
Proceeds from this raffle will be used to help provide employment and housing for veterans and The American Red Cross.

The price of a ticket is $50.00, three (3) for $100.00 or seven (7) for $200.00. You will receive 1 FREE ticket with ANY purchase. There is no limit on how many tickets an entrant can purchase. By purchasing a ticket, the purchaser, the entrant, agrees to the rules and regulations as set forth by HHA. HHA’s interpretation and application of the rules and regulations shall be final. Ticket purchases may be tax deductible, consult your accountant.

The odds of winning will depend on the actual number of tickets sold at the time of applicable drawing. Winner does not need to be present.

If the car/cash raffle is not modified or cancelled under the terms in section nine (9) drawing will be as follows:

1st Grand Prize - One (1) 2015 Mustang GT Coupe or One (1) 2015 Corvette Coupe or $25,000.00 in Cash.
2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th prize - $500.00 in CASH.
EARLY BIRD DRAWIING - October 20, 2014 $1000.00, November 20, 2014 $750.00, December 20, 2014 $500.00 - in CASH.

The grand prize winner has a choice of $25,000 in certified funds or a 2015 Mustang GT Coupe or a 2015 Corvette Coupe less applicable Federal, State and Local taxes. Grand prize winner is also responsible for title, licensing, registration, transportation, delivery and other fees including, without limitation all applicable sales, use, luxury, income and special taxes, as well as an "all-risk" motor vehicle insurance, proof of which must be provided in writing prior to delivery and taking possession of the vehicle. If prizes are not redeemed within 30-days of written notification another drawing will take place from the original entries/applicants.
Prize winners will be required to provide HHA with a social security number and must complete all IRS and similar forms requested by HHA prior to delivery of their prize. Failure to do so within thirty (30) days of request will result in an automatic forfeiture of the winner(s) prize.
Winners will be determined by random drawings of all eligible entrants/ticket holders received by the entry deadline of
March 30, 2015 AT 11:59PM followed by the drawings held on March 31, 2015.

In the event that a winning ticket has more than one name listed, HHA will award the prize to the first name listed on the entry form. The records of HHA shall be deemed correct and accurate if there is a discrepancy or dispute. HHA is not responsible for resolving any disputes that may arise from different individuals listed on a valid ticket. Any and all winnings will only be issued to the designated winner and may not be transferred, sold or otherwise made available to another party.

If the vehicle prize option is selected by the winning ticket holder, the Grand Prize winner must take delivery of the vehicle in Detroit Michigan at a designated dealership or any other location designated by HHA within 30 days or the drawing date. The winner at their sole expense may choose to have the vehicle shipped to another location of their choice for final delivery. The delivery fee is seperate and distinct from the manufacturers Destination Fee. The winner is responsible for making any and all such arrangements for final delivery. HHA will not act as any agent on behalf of the winner in arranging final delivery.
Prize winners assume all fees, local, state and federal tax to include income tax based on the amount of the prize. If the grand prize winner(s) selects the alternate cash prize of $25,000.00 all appropriate and required federal and state taxes will be withheld by HHA in accordance with federal and state law and HHA will remit the balance of the cash prizes to the winners. HHA makes no guarantee that the Grand Prize winner will be able to sell the prize for the value quoted, nor is there any guarantee that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)will accept the quoted value of the prize for the purpose of determining any income tax that may be due from the winner. HHA takes no responsibility for any tax liabilities, consult your tax advisor.

Tickets purchased with payments that do not constitute "GOOD FUNDS":
HHA reserves the right to reject any entry form that is submitted with payments that does not constitute "good funds". HHA will charge a $35.00 fee for all checks returned marked as "insufficient funds". Prior to the "GRAND PRIZE" drawing HHA will make a reasonable effort to notify the individual and or entity that submits such an entry form or one that has been rejected because the credit card or check did not clear that the entry has been rejected. HHA will do so by attempting to make contact through the information provided at the timeof submitting the purchase request. All orders for tickets must be received and/or purchased by the indicated deadline. HHA assumes no liability for lost, late, misdirected or non-delivered emails or fax messages, or any other failure to receive orders or deliver receipts prior to the drawing deadlines.
The prizes if selected will be transferred to the prize winners "as-is" where is, and with any and all faults or defects. Winners are responsible for any and all transportation cost associated with their winning. HHA does not provide any guarantee or warranty expressed or implied, in connection with the prizes and accepts no liability or responsibility regarding the condition of the prizes. No express warranty(s) are given and no affirmation of HHA by words and/or actions will constitute a warranty.
By purchasing a raffle ticket and choosing to participate in the raffle, each raffle participant acknowledges and agrees that HHA has the right in its sole discretion, to elect not to proceed with the raffle for any reason whatsoever or for no reason, and in such event a participants sole and exclusive remedy shall be to a refund of the full price paid by such participant for each raffle ticket purchased without interest.
All names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses are for the sole use of HHA. HHA will not sell or distribute the list of entrants.
All winners will be notified by email, regular US Mail and telephone that they were the winner(s) of any and all prizes. HHA will also post on its website the winners name and ticket number.
Any liability of HHA shall be limited to the ticket price paid and in the case of a dispute, HHA's decision will be final. HHA reserves the right to modify or amend the "OFFICIAL RAFFLE RULES" without notice at any time. For official rules and regulations, visit out website at

Entrants by participating and winners by accepting a prize, release(s) HHA, its respective board, staff, members, employees, volunteers, partners, vendors, agents, representatives, sponsors, service agencies, independent contractors, and each of their respective directors, officers, partners, and agents including advertising, public relations, direct marketing, and promotion agencies from any and all liability with respect to participation in the promotion and possession or use of prize(s) awarded and also acknowledge that they did not receive any representations, warranty, guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or its drivability or fitness.
Successful Winner of either vehicle will be given $51,000.00 towards the car as a downpayment on a similar vehicle by respective automobile manufacturer, with their chosen upgrades. Any and all options and upgrades above the $51,000.00 will be at the Winners expense. There will be no cash alternative.
